TOP TRAY COMPETITION (OPEN)

The Top Tray is for a display of three vegetables from the
following eight.
The quantity of each vegetable is given in brackets.
Carrots (3), Cauliflower (2), Onions (3), Parsnips (3), Peas
(6), Potatoes (3),Runner Beans (6), Tomatoes (6).
Rules
Individual dishes of vegetables on the tray shall be judged to
a maximum of 20 points, split into three, allowing 7 points
for freshness, 7 points for condition and 6 points for
uniformity. All vegetables are to be displayed for effect.
The display shall be within an area of 18 inches x 24 inches,
either on a board or on a marked area of the staging. Where a
tray has a lip or edge the internal measurement must not
exceed 18 inches x 24 inches.A black base cloth is permitted or the tray painted. Parsley
garnishing is permitted but nothing else whatsoever.
